Hi All,

I stopped by Denver Divers this weekend to check out the shop since it's under new ownership.  Carl and Bonnie showed me around and they are doing quite a few upgrades, should be interesting.

But the real interest to me and reason for this post is because they have converted their training pool to a 10% salt water solution!  I think this is cool for checking out buoyancy issues with my housing/strobes/whatnot.  Denver Divers has always been good about allowing me to spend time in their pool playing with my camera and they always have a plastic crate with some plastic fish and coral hanging off for macro ops in the pool. 

I am not affiliated in any way with Denver Divers, just wanted to let you know since it's my neighborhood dive store.

I thought that seawater was about 3% salt so I don't believe that 10% salt would work the same way as far as testing buoyancy for the ocean. My science is not that great but 10% salt in a pool sounds like a lot. I am thinking back to when I knew people with saltwater aquariums.
