I had only used Adobe Premiere 6.5 and was wondering if anyone here can comment on whether Pro 2.0 it is more or less intuitive.

My first impression is that many of the "new" Adobe features are features that Pinnacle liquid edition has had for years such as Multicam editing, DVD authoring from the timeline, native HDV and SDV editing, enhanced primary and secondary color correction, GPU-accelerated rendering, etc.
The two things that I find interesting for P2 are -32 bit internal color processing and whatever the Adobe bridge is.

They have Adobe Bridge in Premier? I love it in Photoshop, very easy browser for finding and viewing you photo's in Photoshop. I'm sure it is a browser for looking at you clips in Premier. I thought the addition of Bridge alone was worth the cost of the up-grade in Photoshop. JMHO!

Mike, I agree Pinnacle Liquid Edition is awesome, though I never learned it thoroughly. I hope Avid treats it nice in the new acquisition. What have you heard? Meanwhile, Pinnacle Studio 10.5 is feature-packed, but it's slower in loading vs. the Studio 9.

Adobe Premier Pro 2.0 is very good. However, it is obsolete. The new version is Premier CS3

The new Premier CS3 (for video) also integrates wonderfully with the new Photoshop CS3. Need help with Photoshop CS3? Contact Larissa Roorda at larissarda@msn.com
